About Beibei Amigos Our Philosophy, Mission, and Story
Nurturing global citizens through Mandarin and Spanish immersion education in North Phoenix.
Founded by Sean Michael Diana, a former elementary teacher, Beibei Amigos began with a deeply personal mission: he started the school for his own son. Sean believes that if our children can speak the world’s three most spoken languages—English, Spanish, and Mandarin—they will have the keys to unlock any career in the future. What started as a father’s passion project has grown into North Phoenix’s premier trilingual immersion school, blending the academic rigor of Montessori with the joy of cultural discovery.

Traditional Program
Designed for early learners, our Traditional Program uses play-based methods to naturally immerse children in Spanish and Mandarin. Through structured circle time, music, art, and storytelling, students build essential social skills and vocabulary.

Montessori Program
Strictly following Maria Montessori’s philosophy, this program fosters independence, concentration, and self-directed learning. Children work with specialized materials to master math, literacy, geography, and practical life skills—all taught trilingually.

My son has been attending Beibei for over three years and unfortunately today was his last day. I truly cannot recommend this school highly enough. From the very beginning, the staff has worked alongside our family to provide my son with the best care and support possible. My son has ASD, and while the journey hasn't always been easy, the team at Beibei has consistently gone above and beyond to meet his individual needs. They are always willing to learn, adapt, and do whatever it takes to ensure every child receives the care and attention they deserve. They even have an inclusion coach who worked closely with my son.Everyone at Beibei from the owner to the teachers and support staff is kind, compassionate, and genuinely invested in the children and their families. They have created such a welcoming and supportive environment that truly feels like a second family. I am incredibly grateful for everything they have done for my son. We feel fortunate this was our baby’s first experience with day care! Our girl started at 14 months and we were anxious but Mrs. Caro and all of the staff quickly won our hearts and trust. We are moving states which is why we had to unenroll. As we look for new places nothing is even close to BeiBei and it has been one of the hardest parts of our move. Our journey with BeiBei Amigos started in 2022. When searching for preschools, I knew I wanted a Spanish immersion program so our kids could experience the benefits of both the language and culture. We were so fortunate to find BeiBei Amigos nearby. AŌer touring with Sean, I immediately had a great feeling and knew our son would be in wonderful hands. He began preschool without difficulty because the teachers were so lovable, kind, and truly loved our children like their own. Ms. Nubia had the big task of caring for Jaxon as a very busy 2-year-old, yet she conƟnuously demonstrated paƟence, kindness, love, and generosity. As first-Ɵme parents, we were learning alongside him, and Ms. Nubia guided us so graciously through the process. You could always tell how deeply she loves what she does. She never once showed us anything but warmth and posiƟvity, and she truly has a gift for working with toddlers. Our son then moved into Ms. Carolina’s class, and he absolutely adored her. She was so kind and loving, and he responded beauƟfully to her care. Every morning he was excited to go to school and would run to her for the biggest hug to start his day. Eventually, he transioned into Ms. Monica and Ms. MuMu’s class for more structure, but he still made sure to find Ms. Carolina for his morning hug. He thrived with Ms. Monica and Ms. MuMu. He came home singing songs in Mandarin, siƫng us down to “play teacher,” and showing us everything he was learning. In 2024, our daughter began her journey in the 1’s classroom with Ms. Maria. Although Mom struggled with the first drop-offs, she confidently walked right into class without hesitation. That confidence came largely from how welcoming, lovable, and comforting Ms. Maria was from the very beginning. In 2025, she moved into Ms. Nubia and Ms Nings class. On difficult mornings, they always knew exactly how to brighten her day. She would come home counting in Mandarin, correcting my pronunciation, telling me about the necklaces she made, and excitedly sharing stories about treats with Ms. Nubia. As a mom, there is no greater comfort than knowing your children are both loved and learning. That is exactly what BeiBei Amigos gave our family. Our experience with BeiBei Amigos has been nothing short of incredible. Our son is now entering kindergarten, and daughter will be starƟng preschool at his school in Surprise, Arizona. I continue to beg Sean to open a location in Surprise because Spanish and Mandarin immersion programs are so rare here. We are beyond grateful our children had the opportunity to be part of this program, and we are incredibly sad to leave. I can only imagine the daily challenges you all face as a pre-school teacher yet as a parent, I never once felt your frustrations. Every teacher at BeiBei Amigos has been patient, loving, kind, communicative, and truly exceptional. You are the foundation for these children as they enter grade school. You build their confidence, show them unconditional love, model patince, and provide the educational foundation. I hope every family can experience this amazing school.
