Yes, we conduct a quick visual health check upon arrival each day to ensure every child is well enough to participate and to protect the health of the group.
Do you use pest control?
Yes, for safety and sanitation, licensed professionals treat the facility as needed outside of school hours. We use child-safe products and parents are notified 72 hours in advance of routine treatments.
How do you handle food allergies?
We are a nut-free campus. For other allergies, we work closely with parents to document medical needs and ensure all staff are aware of safety protocols.
What is the discipline policy?
We practice positive guidance and redirection. Our goal is to teach social-emotional skills, helping children understand feelings and resolve conflicts constructively rather than using punishment.
What do you do when a child bites?
Biting can be a developmental phase for toddlers. We address it by comforting the bitten child and firmly but gently redirecting the biter. We work closely with parents to identify triggers and prevent recurrence.
What are the teacher ratios?
We strictly adhere to or exceed the state-mandated teacher-to-child ratios for every age group to ensure safety and individual attention.

Curriculum & Staff

What is the curriculum?
We offer families a choice between two distinct learning tracks: Montessori (child-led, hands-on) or Traditional (play-based, teacher-led). Both programs integrate full Spanish and Mandarin immersion with art, music, math, and literacy concepts.
What is language immersion?
Immersion means that the foreign language (Spanish or Mandarin) is the medium of instruction, not just a subject. Teachers speak to the children in the target language throughout the day, helping them learn it as naturally as they learn their first language.
What is Montessori?
Our Montessori track follows the philosophy of Maria Montessori, emphasizing child-led activities, independence, and hands-on learning materials, all conducted within our language immersion environment.
What if my child starts speaking another language to me?
This is a great sign! It means the immersion is working. Even if you don't speak the language, encourage them. Let them "teach" you words—it boosts their confidence and reinforces their learning.
What certifications do your teachers have?
Our teaching staff is highly qualified. Montessori teachers are fully Montessori-certified. Traditional classroom teachers hold CDA (Child Development Associate) credentials or ECE (Early Childhood Education) degrees.
How is the teacher retention?
We are proud of our low turnover. Many of our Mandarin teachers have been with Beibei Amigos for over 7 years, providing a stable and loving environment for the children.
How many language teachers do you have?
We currently have 14 dedicated Spanish and Mandarin teachers, in addition to support staff.
How does the language immersion work?
Children are immersed in Spanish, Mandarin, and English throughout the day. Teachers use the target languages during play, circle time, songs, and instruction, helping children acquire language naturally.
Does my child need to know Spanish or Mandarin to enroll?
Not at all! No prior language experience is required. Our program is designed to teach children regardless of their home language.
Can I choose just one language (e.g., only Spanish)?
No. Our unique trilingual model is designed to expose all children to Spanish, Mandarin, and English. We believe this broad exposure is best for brain development.
Do the teachers teach English?
Yes, English is part of the curriculum to ensure children are prepared for Kindergarten standards, but the primary focus of our unique program is on Spanish and Mandarin acquisition.
How will I know how my child is doing?
We use the Procare app to send daily updates, photos, and messages. You can also communicate via email or phone, and we are always happy to discuss your child's progress.
Are there parent-teacher conferences?
Yes, we schedule conferences to discuss development milestones and answer any specific questions you have about your child's learning.
Is this a play-based or academic program?
It is a balance of both. We prepare children for Kindergarten by building foundations in literacy, math, and social skills (sharing, independence, problem-solving), all while they learn new languages.
Why choose Beibei Amigos?
We offer a rare combination: true trilingual immersion (Spanish/Mandarin/English), flexible schedules, and a choice between Montessori or Traditional learning styles, all led by experienced educators who truly care.
My child has separation anxiety. How do you help?
This is very common! Our teachers are trained to handle separation anxiety with patience and love. We establish consistent drop-off routines and use distraction and engagement to help them feel safe and happy quickly.
