18+ Years Serving Phoenix Families
Founded 18 years ago by Sean Michael Diana, Beibei Amigos was born from a parent's desire to give his child a distinct advantage in our increasingly connected world.
Recognizing that the cognitive and academic benefits of bilingualism are profound, Sean set out to build a school where children could master the world's most spoken languages: Mandarin, Spanish, and English. His vision was to create an environment that not only teaches language but wires the young brain for critical thinking, cultural empathy, and future success in the global job market.
Our Commitment to Excellence
Our Mission
Our mission is to prepare children for the future by teaching them the three most spoken languages in the world. We believe that language acquisition goes beyond mere instruction; it requires an immersive experience that engages all the senses in a nurturing, child-centered environment.
Our Philosophy
Whether in our Montessori or Traditional programs, our classrooms allow children to explore and learn at their own pace. By integrating language learning into everyday activities, we create an authentic process that lays a solid foundation for fluency and cognitive growth.
Our Educational Philosophy
A School Designed for Early Childhood
We understand that every child processes information differently. Some thrive in self-directed environments, while others flourish with structured guidance. By offering both Montessori and Traditional programs, we empower you to choose the learning style that best fits your child's personality.
For the Independent Explorer
The Montessori Method
Perfect for children who enjoy choosing their own activities and working at their own pace. This method builds deep concentration and internal discipline.
- Child-Centered: Students select work from prepared shelves, fostering autonomy.
- Hands-On Materials: Concrete tools teach abstract concepts (math, sensory, language).
- Individual Pace: Teachers guide one-on-one, allowing children to advance when ready.
For the Social Learner
The Traditional Program
Ideal for children who thrive on routine, group energy, and teacher-led instruction. This method emphasizes socialization and collaborative play.
- Teacher-Guided: Instructors lead the class through scheduled activities and lessons together.
- Thematic Units: Weekly themes (e.g., "The Ocean," "Space") integrate art, science, and language.
- Social Focus: High emphasis on group games, circle times, and cooperative projects.
A Community Built for Children and Families
At Beibei Amigos, language isn't just a subject—it's the medium of life.
Daily Immersion & Circle Time
Every classroom, regardless of the program, features dedicated Circle Times. These are joyful gatherings where teachers lead songs, storytelling, and group discussions entirely in Mandarin or Spanish.
Student Performances
We believe in celebrating our students' progress! Throughout the year, students participate in musical performances where they sing and perform in Mandarin and Spanish, building confidence and public speaking skills.
