Job Duties:
· Coordinate with director in the conceptualization, creation and implementation of business and educational strategies; Confer with international and domestic organizations to manage and participate in teaching programs; Coordinate in international business and artists exchange programs.
· Conduct or participate in marketing activities including workshops, committees, and conferences by coordinating with other company divisions; Arrange public events and projects to explain program objectives and elicit support.
· Plan and conduct teacher training programs and conferences on curriculum development, use of materials and equipment, and implementation of state and federal programs and procedures; Develop classroom-based and web-based training courses, instructional materials, and products to assist in the technological redesign of courses.
· Confer with members of educational committees and advisory groups to obtain knowledge of subject areas, and relate curriculum materials to specific subjects, individual student needs, and occupational areas.
· Interpret and enforce provisions of state education codes, rules and regulations of state education boards; Prepare grant proposals, budgets, and program policies, or assist in their preparation.
· Develop the visual design of curriculum materials to meet students’ educational needs and district standards; Manage and contribute directly to the design and production of a variety of web and multimedia projects.
· Organize production and design of curriculum materials; Develop instructional materials; Recommend, order, or authorize purchase of instructional materials, supplies, and equipment.
· Observe the work of teaching staff to evaluate performance and to recommend changes that could strengthen teaching skills;
· Develop tests, questionnaires, and procedures, using these tools to determine whether program objectives are met; Research, evaluate, and prepare recommendations on curriculum, instructional methods, and materials for school systems; Update the content of educational programs to ensure that students are being trained with equipment and processes that are technologically current.
Job Requirements:
Master’s degree in Visual Communication Design or Graphic Design. Must have knowledge of developing assignments conducting critiques, structuring dialogue, making presentations, and
assisting in the instruction of studio and lecture courses; developing digital & print graphics, flash animation, website & application design, and video presentation. Must be proficient in using Adobe creative suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere), SketchUp, CorelDRAW, and Final Cut.
